When we went there in July 2007, we brought several hundred dollars worth of new sporting equipment for Paa Yer School.  After two weeks of watching them enthusiastically play all kinds of sports in at least 4 inches of mud, it was our suggestion to build a concrete slab at least large enough for basketball, takraw, and volleyball.  They have since asked if we would please help them with this project, and have put it as a priority over any of the other needs they have.

   
In April 2009, after fundraising for 5 months, Joan and I flew to Thailand with 500 lbs of clothes, candy, snacks, sports equipment, bikes, and sneakers! 




We had sent money ahead, so the sports field was completed by the time we arrived!  Joan and I taught the children how to play jacks, jump rope, hockey, four square, hop scotch, etc.  We also made & brought a coloring book translated into Thai for all the children, that taught them about creation, the birth and death of Jesus, and how God works thru us to help them!   A few generous last minute contributions came in and we were able to leave them with enough money to start building a library for the school....PRAISE GOD!!!!!
